“ The Rib Shack will have you stopping there from a mile down the road when you catch a whiff of their cooking! Baby backs are tender and delicious! Potato and Cole slaw salad tastes great! This little shop kicks out some killer bbq! Can't wait to explore the menu! ”
“ The sample platter is definitely worth it. I must say tho out of all the meats, the pulled pork was really good, moist, and portions were generous amounts. I had it over some fries and Mac and cheese which was a solid 4.5/5 . The place is a small little spot in the corner but place is kept pretty clean. Staff is cool and friendly. Definitely would come back when I'm in the area. To be honest... I think it's better than Phil's BBQ. ”
“ Excellent barbecue! You know it's going to be good when you can smell it from your car. Love the tri-tip and brisket. Surprisingly the chicken was very tender and flavorful and came in a very large portion. Mac & cheese is very rich and creamy. okra was great and served extremely hot. Potato salad is mustardy for those who love the taste - - I loved it! Also gave sides of barbecue sauce, which were delicious as well. Service was quite fast. It's nothing fancy so you know it taste good. Very few tables inside, there is outdoor seating as well. Overall, very good experience and will return if we're in the area again. Definitely should try if you're on the road and are starving--like we were! ”
“ Phenomenal BBQ in Fallbrook! Be sure to stop into the Rib Shack for some lip smackin' BBQ with local charm! We got the family sampler platter because we couldn't make up our minds... for two *very hungry* people, we had leftovers for several meals. They even sell Cheerwine! Super cute and chill vibes. “ One of our family members lives in Fallbrook area of San Diego. They brought us out to The Rib Shack. It's a nice small family-owned place. I was told it was established in 2013. The lady who helped us was very cordial and helpful. When you walk in, the menu is above behind the counter. They offer dinners (Baby Back Ribs, Brisket, Tri-Tip, Pulled Pork, or Smoked Chicken with two sides and a roll). They also offer specialties, two meat combos, sandwiches, and more. They have a drink cooler if you'd like to have a drink. Glass bottles or plastic bottles. They offered three different barbeque sauces. We ended up mixing them together. Their meats were very tender, juicy, and not dry. I liked the fact that they did not smother the sauces on after they were cooked. It was a nice option to control the sugar in the sauces. They offer indoor seating as well as outdoors. The place is nicely decorated and clean. We opted to sit outdoors and enjoyed the sunshine. They have a decent area for parking. Overall, a nice place for lunch or dinner. We did see quite a few take out orders as well. I'd like to try other menu items next time. ”
